Home Inspector – Laurel, Maryland – Snead Home Inspections

Home Inspection Experts In Maryland & Washington DC

This is a standard home inspection usually performed after the seller accepts an offer to purchase a property, within the timeframe stipulated in the contract. The certified home inspector will perform a thorough but limited visual, non – invasive examination of the home. The inspector will examine the roof, exterior, interior and plumbing, electrical, mechanical and structural systems of the home. A detailed report outlining the condition of the property at the time of the inspection will be provided.

The pre-listing home inspection is developed by our company for home sellers who are looking to sell their home for more money by detecting any defects that need to be fixed before listing the house for sale. At Snead Homes Inspections, we perform a thorough but limited visual, non-invasive examination of the home with a comprehensive report within 24 hours. We inspect the structure, roofs, interior, exterior, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and mechanical systems of the house.

Radon tests are done to detect the presence of radon gas in the home. Radon is an odorless colorless and can only be detected through testing. The Environmental Protection Agency recommends that all homes are tested.

This is a less formal inspection where the home inspector will “walk through” the property with clients and identify major issues. No photos will be taken and no report will be provided.

This is for rental unit owners who need to get registered before tenants move in.

The property will be inspected for the presence of any wood destroying insects.
