We at Snead Home Inspections are closely monitoring the ever evolving COVID-19 situation.
A recent uptick in covid-19 cases in our area has renewed the importance of taking safety measures. We are here to assure you that we at Snead Home Inspections, continue to take precautions to minimize the spread of this deadly virus. Our safety precautions align with the Center for Disease Control & Prevention recommendations and adhere to interNACHI’s COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. Below is a list of guidelines that we observe:
- We wear a combination (gloves, masks and or respirators) of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the entire duration of the home inspection.
- We disinfect all surfaces as we go through the inspection.
- All tools used are disinfected and sanitized between inspections.
- We maintain 6′ distance between our clients at all times.
While we still encourage our clients to attend the home inspection, we do ask that the number of people who attend be limited. We suggest that two people (including the buyer’s agent) be the maximum in attendance. All attendees should wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
Should a client opt not to attend the inspection due to illness or other reasons, we are offering video conferencing. After the inspection while still on the property, we will call our client to detail and show any inspection findings. The call also provides an opportunity for the client to ask any questions and voice concerns. As always, we continue to be available for any questions and concerns that may arise after the client and agent receives the home inspection report.
Together we can help minimize the spread of COVID-19. We at Snead Home Inspections remain committed to our clients health and safety.
